I loved the first book, like reading on the bathroom floor at two AM love. But this one is weighed down by the romance. It feels very forced and unnatural. In the first book it was very subtle and let the mystery aka the plot of the book drive the story forward, though in this one the romance tired to to toe-to-toe with the mystery. If Jameson and Greyson said 50% less of their romance dialogue and things that made me, personally, close the book, then my rating would be much higher. I truly love the mystery centered portion of the plot and I am dying for the next one to come out in August. I recommend this book/the series for the mystery and thrill aspect, not for the weird romance angle.
