The Man Without a Shadow by Joyce Carol Oates
1.0
This book was very repetitious in wording. A neuroscientist spends an entire 30 year career with a patient who has amnesia, then treats him unethicically by falling in love with him, having a sexual relationship with him, pretending she is married to him, knowing that in 70 seconds he will forget her. It is also very scientific and detailed which can make for dull reading. I am sorry to have spent so long reading this hoping it would get better.
