The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

5.0

I hardly give books five stars but this deserved it. even i'm not sure if that means it's perfect, but i just know that anything less than five stars would be an injustice. the characters are definitely not perfect, they are flawed in a painfully human way, and it's hard to wrap my head around this not being an actual biography. i had heard so much about this book, and it shattered all my expectations. the seven husbands of evelyn hugo is so cleverly crafted and carefully thought through, i could not stop reading. and i cried, which not many books make me do, so i think that's a testament to taylor jenkins reid. absolutely, 100%, a book to read before you die.
