It’s been quite some time since I’ve read the previous books in this series. 

Things I liked:

1. Danny has a mysterious past
2. Jeremy isn’t a lord 
3. The banter amongst the Malory family members 

Things I didn’t like:

1. A bit too much convenience for me on the killer recognizing someone in the city streets who used to be 5 years old and is now an adult 
2. Awful convenient that the cousin is also the thief 
3. Danny should have visited Lucy more often. She seemed to forget her friends very quickly until she needed them again
