This was not for me, I think I disliked almost every aspect of the book. The way the mmc went from hot to cold in the beginning gave me whiplash (and made me immediately stop shipping the couple, he should have gone to therapy and the fmc should have run away), the stupid third act breakup, the way none of them talked to each other about the things that matter, the way the mmc described the fmc, just ugh. I also feel like this was a novella for no reason? There's so much in here that it should have been a full novel, it just isn't? So it just reads as a novel with a lot of missing plot and character progression.
