“I am just a Moreau,” Jean said, flat and fierce. “I am not—” “So was Elodie ,” Neil reminded him, and Jean stopped breathing. “Remember that the next time you think you aren’t worth saving.”
I was scared of the book ending, I don't want it to end, checking the status bar all the time, keep reading paragraphs again and again so that they will last longer, until I soaked every word up and burned it into my memory.
I would've liked the story to be about Jean learning to love himself, disattached from Jerejean (I'm more of a Renejean type of person anyways), but I guess the majority of the crowd really looked forward to it and Nora delivered on that note.
This book is what we all wanted, but didn't know we needed yet.
