It's a dark academia setting with fae, angels, shifters, vampires, all our favs and then some. A few things we get to experience throughout are rune magic, multiple realms, murder mystery, all in a more modern setting which fits the story well. The character development of the fmc was so good and I can only imagine will get even better as the story continues. You'll fall in love with all of the characters and what they teach the fmc along the way. The ending had me in literal tears of heartbreak and sadness. It's a must read and perhaps an infinity star read as well.
