The first book really had set up Eckie as the bad guy but we all knew he had a great redemption in him. This book picks up 2 months after Eckie received treatment and we see that he has developed a strong bond with Jack the assistant coach.

I absolutely loved Eckie and Jack they were both such good characters that truly showed their emotions and were clear in their struggles. Eckie's relationship with his parents was awful and was the foundation of all the troubles he experienced in the past.

I don't want to give to much away but I cannot recommend this book enough, it is heartfelt and emotional with the perfect HEA.
