This book was............odd. Like, don't get me wrong, I was hooked. But there was also a lot in this that was just plain weird and/or that gave me the absolute ick. I didn't entirely like the protagonist, and listening to the audiobook made the bear/Behre a little repetitive.

Still, the Canadian setting was great, and while some of the animal related content was a little much for my liking and I didn't entirely love the ending, this was still utterly compelling and I think the audio was a great choice as I can imagine some of the scenes may have dragged a tad on the page.
