I really loved Happiness for Beginners and The Bodyguard, and I gave this a try without knowing much about it going in. I should have trod more carefully, though, because I hate a miscommunication trope. Should have DNF'd, I don't usually mind when the end is telegraphed early on but I ended up spending much of the book wanting to scream to use your words.
