Unfortunately, this book wasn't quite as good as the previous installations of the Enzo series, but it was still a page turning thriller. The start of the book was a little bit slower but it quickly heats up, with many twists and turns towards the end of the book.
A little bit of character development was sprinkled in, concerning Enzo’s family, but there is not many appearances from the rest of Enzo’s crime solving gang, apart from Sophie and Charlotte.
this book just wasn't exciting as the others for me, and I also found the murder case itself quite unbelievable, which didn’t help. Im excited for the next book in the series, Cast Iron.
