This is my first attempt to open my reading horizons onto Palestine.

It was a painful story from beginning to end, told on two different perspectives separated by more than 30 years.

I knew what was going to happen in the first part, the original crime, it turned my stomach if I’m being honest. And I found myself holding my breath for the character to make it out alive in the second part.

Whether I get my wish or not is not that surprising, what did shocked me was the feeling of being able to see what the author is describing in terms of the landscape, that was a treat I was not expecting.
