This book was like the book I read last, Queenie, Except the main character is white not black. I have read one other book by this author which was about her struggles with her mental health and I could definitely see her mental health deteriorating in this book. I thought she came across as having bipolar disorder, although I'm reticent to diagnose given I'm not a mental health professional and I have just read two books by her, she seemed chaotic and her issues with debt and shopping took me in that direction. Anyway I enjoyed this book, I felt for the main character and all the others to be honest. Once again the males of the species do not come across well in this book.

I was happy with the ending and given that this is sort of an autobiography, am happy that Bryony gained some stability. I hope all the guys portrayed in this book recognise themselves and are really embarrassed.
