I have read all of this author's books and the characters all have issues but I still loved her stories so much; but this one is so depressing! I mean how much more can this girl take? I was not prepared for all the grief and hardship. It's not that I don't like to read books that are heavy. It's that I don't expect it from this genre!! It was all just too much! And some parts had me skeptical! I rolled my eyes quite a few times! The "surprises" were too cheesy,  predictable, and frankly ridiculous. They needed to actually TALK and make decisions TOGETHER! It was just an average book with a couple that deserved a better story.
