What an incredible novella!
Within such a short amount of space, I felt like this still contained a well-thought-out and fully fleshed-out out thorough plot, fantastic builds of characters and just everything that an actual book contains. Honestly surprised by this!
The world-building was vivid and easy to conjure in my mind, beautifully constructed to intertwine with the theme of the story itself.
Lilith is one of my favourite characters from this universe so far for sure. She's sweet, lovely and a curious little mouse who is determined and smart, a scientist if you will. I loved the tenderness that Vale had to him too, rather than the same old big bad boy vampire shtick, you know? He was nice, and I loved their interactions and hope to see more from them in the future!
All in all, a fun novella, with a fantastic plot, plenty of romance, a little action, and a great addition to giving more depth to the world created in this series. Honestly just great!
