Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children
by Ransom Riggs
What. A. Highly. Interesting. Book!!!! Absolutely loved loved loved the plot and setting and characters (basically everything) A really unique idea: set in the modern days, Jacob can't help but wonder if there's some truth to Grandpa's stories of a remote island, an orphanage, and weird collection of pictures. But then an unexpected tragedy happens which led him journeying to an island off the coast of Wales. And it's there that he discovers the ruins of an abandoned orphanage that matches his grandfather's description in the supposedly made up stories. What's more, he came to realize that the children there were very peculiar and different...
This is a thrilling story that'll make you turn page after page, excited to find out what's next. Moreover, there are haunting pictures all throughout the book that'll make the adventure even better. I recommend this book to anyone who likes adventures, fantasy, and thrillers.
DO READ THE WHOLE SERIES!!! :D
