Hard to Love by Willow Winters, W. Winters
4.0
3.5 Stars (Cliffhanger)
A lot of things happen in this book. It's book one in a quartet so the pacing was decent.
I love Willow's work but I struggled with this one. It just jumps in to the action and I felt like I was missing something.
There is a particular character's death that is instrumental and it was very glossed over in the end.
I'm interested in these characters but not emotionally invested.

Edited to note: This takes place in the Merciless world. That means, although each series focuses on one couple, characters are woven in to most stories. That's why I felt confused. Best to follow Willow's reading guide in order to experience everything chronologically.
