T.V. Holiday's Cataclysm: Legend of The Iron Warrior Vol. 2 by T.V. Holiday
adventurous
mysterious
fast-paced
4.0
Cataclysm is a thrilling supernatural read packed with action. This is completely different from my usual reads and I was a bit skeptical but boy was I wrong.
The plot kept me hooked. I was constantly flipping pages like a maniac. It not only has a supernatural setting and thrilling action but also has an emotional depth.
The Iron warrior, Travis Holiday is not like those utterly perfect heroes wearing white capes but he's a flawed warrior with imperfections that makes him relatable to the readers.
On the other hand, Rebecca Walters, the detective who is entrusted to investigate the pilling murders is in a race with the clock. Once the time is up, the loss would be unimaginable.
All the characters including Luc, the Ruthless Monsoon, the crimson Queen, are multidimensional and complex. The author's writing makes them believable but that doesn't take away the charm of fierce villains.
It's a dark supernatural fantasy about a falling world where defeat means losing more than one can ever imagine.
The characters are well developed, the Villains are fierce, the hero is relatable and the supernatural world is exciting.
The author's writing keeps you hooked from the beginning and all the thrill makes it impossible to put the book down. If you're into this genre then this is going to be your favourite read so far.
I was thoroughly impressed with the plot, characters and world building.
Overall it's a package deal with fast-paced story line, emotional depth, complex characters, relatable hero, fierce Villains and an amazingly crafted supernatural world.
