The End of Everything (Astrophysically Speaking)
by Katie Mack
Dark matter! Dark energy! Gravitons! Physics is cool. :-)
I haven't taken any physics classes since high school, but I had no trouble understanding the concepts in this book. (OK, my brain got a little melted in the last chapter or so when Mack brought in extra spacetime dimensions, but it was still awesome.) And because I haven't taken any physics classes in so long, it was great to learn about all of the new developments in the field and all of the fascinating ways the universe might end.
(And from the header on Chapter 4, Katie Mack has read Arcadia! ::fangirl squeee::)
