God of Malice by Rina Kent

slow-paced

3.0

This book was overhyped. While the spicy scenes were fine, the rest of the plot was lacking. I enjoyed the banter and relationship between the FMC & MMC but the mystery of Devlin, which is how the story began was never at the forefront. It was always a subplot even though the story began with Glyndon struggling over Devlin’s death and her pursuit to find out what happened to him. Everything was revealed in the last 10% and it was lackluster. I have no plans to read any of the other books in this series.
