This was one of the first books I read that wasn't a chapter book. The world Christopher Paolini built of magic and elves and dragons sparked a lifelong love of high fantasy. To this day this book is still one of my favorites and I recommend it to people of all ages who are looking for a classic but still unique high fantasy story.
