This book is a wild ride. This series definitely tackles some sensitive topics, so be sure to read content warnings.
"Sidetracked" picks up where "The Risk" left off, Logan is still infatuated with Lana, and Lana is still on her quest for revenge. Logan begins to investigate an active serial killer, and he has reason to believe that this killer will go after Lana. Lana wants this guy to come after her so she can kill him and make it look like an accident.
Just like the first book, this book is GRAPHIC. Lana is seeking revenge and will go to any brutal means to torture and kill her victims. This book also highlights a pedophile, so be cautioned there is some child abuse mentioned. I am still rooting for Lana and Logan, and I hope they can be together. They both really bring out the best in one another, even if their story is a little insta lovey and technically based on a little deceit.
I am excited to continue on this journey in book three!
