Blood on the Tracks, Vol. 6 by Shuzo Oshimi

4.0

This whole volume is one big ball of gaslighting a child.

Seiko is absolutely vile.

Seiichi is so confused that he continues to succumb to his mother— it’s so sad to watch. It’s angering.

The anticipation builds, but so does the complete uncomfortability.

We read all the previous volumes, Seiko— we know what you did. I was infuriated looking at all of the panels in regard to the gaslighting. The way the panels differed ever so slightly between Vol. 1 and Vol. 6 makes you, as the reader, feel like you are being gaslighted, too.

This is waaaaay worse than Junji Ito. A whole different type of horror— but I just can’t stop reading.
