Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë

3.0

It feels impossible to rate this book. Was it well written? Yes. Was it interesting? No. Did I like it? Not really. But it was relatively entertaining in parts and I don’t regret reading it because I think it’s interesting to learn more about women’s lives in the time period and life in general. Besides that, it is obviously sexist, classist, etc etc. you expect that. But, additionally, I am confident I have never read a book so Christianity heavy in my entire life.
