I was disappointed in this 3rd book of the series. I really enjoyed the first two. I listened to the audiobook version until about 50%. Then I switched to the ebook. I had to skim through to the last 20% to finish reading it. Would have liked to know more of the story between the end and the epilogue section. It would have been a nice tie in with the previous 2 books. Since a 4th in the series will be available, I am assuming that more resolution will come with that book - or however many more there will be in the series. Even though this is marketed as being a standalone, I do think that reading the first two books is preferable and essential to make full sense of the end of this book.
