DNF'ing at 36%. Alice Feeney is an auto buy author for me and one of my favorites. However, sadly this book is just not it. I am all for the dark and disturbing, but this book is just gross. I looked up spoilers after deciding not to finish, and it seems like I made the right call... It only continues to get worse; graphic child abuse, sexual assault, and incest are just plain disturbing, and not mysterious (nor fun) to read about.
