It was good not as good as fourth wing and iron flame but it was still good and a great Segway into the next book. It would’ve been better if I were reading this book years from now and had the 4th book in hand to dive straight into so that it didn’t feel lacking in anyway. It was also quite evident that they were going to get married, just not like this. My heart bleeds for all the characters, especially Xaden because he actually doesn’t deserve this
