Not a Happy Family by Shari Lapena

4.0

Shari Lapena is an autobuy author for me. I love her family dramas and her writing style allows me to fly through her books. This one was no different. 3 siblings all stand to inherit a LOT of money. So when a vicious murder happens, who is to blame? We all know money is the root of all evil.

I enjoyed this book but I found some of the plot to be redundant. I knew pretty early on who the killer was (and not in the "oh I guessed the killer" but really I had like 5 theories at by the end, one of them happened to be correct, type of way) BUT I still really enjoyed reading this.

As an only child I find books about siblings fascinating. This was a solid domestic thriller in my book.
