Red Mars by Kim Stanley Robinson

Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.

I started Red Mars in late January 2025, and struggled with it from the jump. It’s a very dense book, with heavy emphasis on the science of science fiction, and while at times I found myself hooked… more often than not, I was left dangling with little interest and pushed through what felt like an eternal slog to me. I pushed off reading and eventually came back to it, making my way 50% in before calling the effort off. Maybe I’ll come back to this in the future.
