I actually got a dilemma rating this story. I would give 1 or 2 star to the mystery. I don't know it's just me who like crime/suspense stories so I could see the pattern of the story or because the mystery was just too simple--and mean it to be. I know who the serial killer since, like, 50 pages. I mean, it was so damn obvious! Even if I'm trying not to find the killer, it's showed right in front of my eyes it's hard not to know. And yet Ty and Zane kept sliping every time they try near finding the truth--and I'm actually found the truth a few pages before their near-find-the-truth. It just made me wanted to smack them both on their head.

But on the other hand, the characterization, the interaction, the chemistry, the romance, it's all perfect. I would give 4 or even 5 star for their development. I love when Ty and Zane pissing off each other to make them true to themselves. And I love them become so dense on their own feelings--and now, I assume that they're THAT dense even for their job solving mystery so. They had their own terrible past and kept rubbing each other wounds while still care for each other. Their interaction make them be my favorite couple in my heart.

So yeah, finally I decided to give them the middle score--eventhough I still want to give them 5 star, but sadly I can't ignore the bad of the mystery. *sob*
