I love all the Amulet books by Kibuishi. It is fair to say that this is the most popular/most requested series in my library. The art is always so much fun and the story in each book is quite gripping. Often, teachers at my school scoff at the idea of graphic novels being quality literature, but this series is a a great way to prove the power of graphic novels. Besides being incredibly popular series due to the action in the book, the themes of loss, love, and sacrificing for the greater good are hugely present in each volume. As always, I can't wait for the next one to come out!
