Beyond: The Astonishing Story of the First Human to Leave Our Planet and Journey into Space by Stephen Walker

informative inspiring medium-paced

3.5

The book is informative and has some interesting pictures. But in some places it doesn't follow the timeline linearly. The worst part is the author's nauseating bias against Soviets. Same things done by Americans are celebrated as achievements and by Soviets are downplayed as pure luck or even criticised as a flaw. History of science should not be entrusted to such biased people.
