The Moon And Sixpence
by W. Somerset Maugham
If you're a struggling contemporary artist who listens to indie or new age music, watch art films or foreign, non-hollywood productions, have an ability to quote either Nietzsche or Ginsberg, this book will make you feel self-righteous. For everyone else, this will either make you cringe with anger until you put it down, or until you regret doing law, accounting, and conforming like the rest of the society.
