The Measure by Nikki Erlick

4.0

The premise of this book closely parallels what we all just went through with the pandemic. It’s really beautiful and poignant and relatable in a lot of ways BUT:

-so drawn out. You start to get a strong sense of how it will end a little over halfway and you’re not wrong. Why belabor the point?

-there are some suuuuuper cheesy parts that are like…mmmkay, Carol

-Casual adoption mentions which I loathe

Overall though, great little read.
