Pain in the Axe by Daphne Elliot
5.0

After 20 years Chloe is back in Maine and is the new owner of her ex husband, Gus’s family business, the one he gave her up for. She is a take charge, don’t mess with me, boss babe and she is there with things to prove to her family and her ex. Gus, realizes quickly that things have to be different to keep her around. A new wardrobe, therapy, if it helps him convince her that they are meant to be he will do it. When sparks start flying, the clothes do too. This is a cute feel good story, where both main characters have issues they need to work through, separately and together. There are side characters who have their own stories, but this can be read as a stand alone with no problem
