Bad…. But enjoyable.

In a nutshell…Main character Grace’s parents die in a tragic accident so she’s shipped off to a boarding school in Alaska where her uncle is the principal and her cousin is a student. The students at the school aren’t exactly normal (normal humans that is). Grace has a thing for Jaxon Vega who is a vampire - but you won’t officially find that out until halfway through the book. So be prepared to spend half the book with the main character acting all clueless. Then she sorta finds out some things, then she has some corny insta-love. Then there’s some action that feels like it goes on and on and on. Then something exciting happens and you switch POVs for one chapter and the book is over. That’s basically the entire 600 pages of this book.

This was way way way too long and occasionally painful to read but I snickered, I cringed, I rolled my eyes and I still seriously enjoyed my experience.

I will be continuing this series as I do anticipate it getting better… hopefully I’m right - if not - I’ll still have fun!!

I read this on audiobook and flew through it… it was sorta weird listening to the female narrator voice this sexy vampire man - but I don’t know if I could have spent time reading this with my eyes - it was great to have on in the background as I cleaned my house
