I feel like I ruined this book for me by watching the movie adaptation- which was, frankly, BAD.
This is a funny, comedic, humorous book with goofy characters, but for some reasons, I couldn't understand Jack- I felt like he got away being a j*rk. This feeling towards Jack made the happily-ever-after ending not-so-happy for me and I kept it unfinished for weeks/months (cause I already knew the ending watching the movie). Again, I don't know what my reaction would be if I hadn't seen the movie- I was so excited reading the book that halfway through it I searched for the movie and had started watching it (and then got disappointed). Anyway, liked this book- amazing if you want to have a good time!
