The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss

5.0

I started reading this once I learned Lin Manuel Miranda was a fan and composing the music for the movie. I enjoy epic fantasy and this was indescribably fun to read. It has magic, suspense, romance, wit, adventure, and even dragons (my fav). The writing is perfectly fine but there were a handful of times the author described the internal feelings of the characters in such a way, it nearly took my breath away. Just really solid writing with some really beautifully crafted moments. The book is philosophical, charming, and you'll have no trouble hoping things go well for the main characters.
