The Lawrence Browne Affair by Cat Sebastian

5.0

I loved this book so much. Georgie really surprised me. I mean I liked him in the first book but we saw so little of him that I wasn’t feeling any type of way about reading his book. But boy did Cat Sebastian change that fast. I loooved Georgie in this book. He was so confident and caring and protective. He just immediately wanted to help Lawrence, and he was constantly feeling bad about being there under false pretenses. I also really loved Lawrence. I loved that there wasn’t any conflict between them when Georgie’s real reasons for being there came about. And how Lawrence gave Georgie all his expensive jewels so Georgie would have the means to fend for himself even though he knew that Georgie meant to leave him - that scene GOT me. Arghhh they were just both doing stupid things to protect each other and it was so precious. And omg how Georgie was immediately defending Simon and trying to convince Lawrence he would be an amazing father was absolutely beautiful. I was also smiling so freaking hard at the ending - how Georgie’s wanting to travel back to Lawrence to see if they could be together forever, and then there’s a knock and Lawrence is already there - so precious.
