Fight or Flight by Samantha Young

3.0

Fight or Flight was a fun little romcom to jump into. Ever since I've read Samantha's Dublin Street books, I've been wanting to jump into something different of hers. So, I think it was great timing for me to come across this little gem.

In it, you will meet Ava and Caleb. At first, things aren't going well for Ava. She is off to go bury a childhood friend and flights are being delayed. On top of all that, Caleb steals her first-class seat. Not sure if his Sottish accent can help sway her into a good mood but I was very excited to find out.

Their relationship was definitely dislike to like for me. I wouldn't necessarily call it enemies to lovers because they barely knew one another when they didn't like each other. Plus, it didn't really take long for their first assumptions to be thwarted either.

In the end, they were likable, and things were pretty predictable. They were also very frustrating at times but when you get two stubborn people that is bound to happen. I still somehow ended up liking the book and will have to be on the lookout for another one of Samantha's books in the new year.
