The first 200 pages of the book were so slow and tedious to read. The last 100 pages were jam packed with horrifying events & imagery. The way the author wrote these horrific scenes was truly terrifying. The vocabulary in this book was also wild, I had to look up definitions to words at least once a page. There were plenty of things I liked about this book, but also plenty of things that I didn’t love. Overall great story, I just wish the beginning & middle weren’t so slow-paced.
