Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin

Can you say, free library book option? We love a free book in the neighborhood, even if it's not something you'd normally pick up. But this was a good YA read, with an interesting look on the afterlife.

Zevin focuses on the 15 year old afterlife of Liz, dealing with her acceptance and growth even after she's dead. She gets to meet and live with her grandmother as everyone ages backwards, so an intriguing premise. Some parts were a little trite, but not bad overall.
