Perfect Match
by Jodi Picoult
I found this on the bookshelf of the holiday home I was staying in for a couple of days, and so I borrowed it. I have liked every other Jodi Picoult novel that I've read.
This didn't disappoint me. What a dilemma for the mother!
I have been t hinking about sanity - quite how we mueasure it is a matter of curiosity. We can only ever be subjective in our understanding of what is sane and what is not. Circumstances (socially, culturally) make a huge difference in what is acceptable and what is not; likewise what is considered sane/rational, and what is "clearly" not.
Fascinating.
