I really enjoyed this book! Honestly, Freya Marske has me full on invested in this series. I honestly don't have much to say besides I love her characters, I love the magical shenanigans, I love the queerness, and even the spicy scenes aren't cringeworthy (they often are in books, unfortunately). I really love how this book focused on Maude, because while I definitely liked book one as well, I liked that Maude was able to express emotions and view the world in a way wildly different than the men. I can't wait for book three in the fall!
