Before you judge me for my book tastes, let me just say, I am contractually obligated to read at least 1 mafia book per year ❌

Ok, now that that is out of the way…what did I just read lol. Like, was it the worst thing I ever read? No. But it wasn’t great!

Every chapter started with a random quote, and I kid you not, there was a Helen Keller one included.

You’re probably wondering, Morgan, why did you read this book? Well, I was so distraught after poppy wars, so I was like, why not read about more violence, but make if mafia (this is slight sarcasm)! Tbh this was free on kindle and I saw one quote and was like, ehh it can’t be that bad. Well, it kind of was? Will I read the other ones in the series…maybe.

I am not going to even comment on the main characters cause if you’ve read Mafia romance then you already know. Also the plot is rarely the point in these books so you can guess what was happening lol
