grayjay 's review for:
David Copperfield
by Charles Dickens
This is one of those times when I can appreciate that the book was influencial, probably greatly impacted the development of the novel form, and I can see where the value lies, but I didn't really enjoy it. It's a little dull.
Although I know Dickens was revolutionary for the time in his psychologically rich characters, David himself rings a little silly and naive.
