I have now personal beef with Rebecca Yarros.
really liked the little quest they had, especially because we got to know so much about the isles!
I'm kind of miffed about Prof Xaden (ew), which kind of didn't turn out to be the problem I expected it to be, seeing as he's battling becoming a Fae Male ™
I love Ridoc and Garrick and generally the whole Iron Squad (even Cat grew in me), I was thrilled to see violet developing her signet and getting to know more about the irids. But damn am I left with a lot of questions.
In a somewhat arbitrary order:
0) What the actual f* was that ending??? Where did Xaden go; who would Violet ask Imogen to wipe her memory?
1) Did Andarna ever truly leave or just hide until it was time?
2) Who is Xaden new Venin-brother? Is it Garrick??
3) What actually happened to Violet on Dunne's island? What did her dad DO?
4) What exactly does Brennan's rune mark mean (Naolin?)
5) Does Bhodi truly not have a second signet?
6) IS there actually a cure?? Like, where is all this going? Will there be a happy end?
7) Which other God curries Violet's favour?
8) Daun and Sloane? I'm here for it
