The Search has probably been my favourite ATLA comic so far! It's packed with mystery and delves deeply into Azula's and Zuko's character. It's heartbreaking and heartmending at the same time.

The Gaang being involved in such a personal story-line felt correct. They don't take too much space from the main Zuko & Azula storyline, yet they add in subtle ways. For example: Zuko-Azula's and Sokka-Katara's sibling relationships are subtly compared, but it ends up adding a thoughtful layer to the storyline.

Without spoiling anything, I found the spirit world storyline, such an entertaining and beautiful part of the comic. It expands on the ATLA spirit world portrayal, and ties back into the main plot. Absolutely fantastic.

If you're going to read any ATLA comic after watching the series, let it be this one.
