Did not finish book. Stopped at 10%.

So many of these stories would have benefited from editing. I get Carter's argument, that she wants to preserve the original character of the stories, but some of them need just a little more. Because the cadence/language choices change from story to story, it's jarring unless you read literally one a day. Already not being a short story fan, I just couldn't. Ymmv.
