A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara

dark emotional sad tense medium-paced

I mean… wow. This book is horrifyingly devastating, harrowing. Yanagihara draws you in, makes you truly love the characters, and they all befall such awful fates. And the hardest part is that it’s not unrealistic.

Beyond the emotional devastation of the book, the prose is beautifully written and I hope to read more of Yanagihara’s writing.
